LARGE FORMAT DESIGN
Automotive Wrap for SEMA Showcase
Project Overview
When I designed this project the goal was to take an initial AI-generated concept and transform it into a fully realized, production-ready vehicle wrap for Nissan at the 2025 SEMA show. Because the base vehicle was a brand-new prototype, the process began with creating an accurate blueprint template from scratch. Once approved by the printer, I illustrated and sourced licensable, commercially safe vector assets matching the high-energy splash style of the concept, guiding the wrap through several rounds of precision modifications. Under tight, top-secret deadlines, the project expanded to include 3D prints, custom automotive branding elements, and a full suite of marketing assets for FAST, Broadcast, Web, Social, Email, and YouTube. The project concluded with designing and installing a custom studio wall display featuring the final vehicle imagery.
My Role
When I designed this while working at the production studio, I served as the in-house graphic designer managing end-to-end design and template engineering. My responsibilities included vehicle blueprint creation, vector asset illustration, wrap layout adjustments, multi-channel marketing asset generation, vendor coordination, and studio wall art installation.
Software Used
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Slack, Basecamp, and company server management tools.
Project Contributors
This was a production studio project created in collaboration with national client stakeholders, sales and management teams, internal video and photography departments, and local print and 3D fabrication vendors.
